The play

Vickie is desperate to get her mother safely married off, but time is running out to get her to the church.

Her randy boyfriend, a collapsible ironing board, an erotic screen and a mix up over the best man (not to mention an electrician who blows all the fuses) hold up the proceedings.

Well-meant help by the bride’s new-age friend adds further confusion, and the discovery of a former lover brings matters to a head!

A Bride in The Hand is a new farce from Angela Lanyon, best known in STAC for her annual mystery plays.
